Marketing Communications Specialist (Remote)

Marketing Communications Specialists will promote Helpside’s services to existing and prospective customers through strategic use of organic and paid marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the sales team and other internal departments at Helpside to provide content creation and communications assistance for graphics, website, videos and print documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and distribute content marketing deliverables in print, web, graphic design, and video.
  • Write and edit copy for blogs, emails, and client communications.
  • Plan and execute social media initiatives.
  • Manage creation of graphics and illustrative copy.
  • Monitor marketing and social media trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with sales/marketing representatives or other internal departments to fully understand communication needs.
  • Evaluate success of campaigns when completed.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with design software including Canva and Adobe Suite
  • Experience with social media tools
  • Experience with writing and editing copy
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) a plus
  • Basic web design experience in WordPress a plus
  • Familiarity with CMS and marketing analytics tools (HubSpot, MailChimp, WordPress, Google Analytics) a plus
  • Familiarity with SEO and keyword research best practices a plus

 Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • One to three years of related experience in a variety of marketing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.

Job Type: Full time, 40 hours per week
